NSL Chemicals Ltd has ventured in waste oil recycling in 1998 under NSL OilChem Services Pte Ltd (formerly known as NatSteel Guinard Oil Sevices Pte Ltd). It is Singapore's first onshore plant for the treatment, recycling and disposal of oily sludge, slop and industrial waste oil.
Currently, NSL OilChem Group of Companies (which are NSL OilChem Services Pte Ltd, Hup Eng Tat Enterprises, NSL Environmental Services and NSL Watt Wah Pte Ltd) have expanded to operate hazardous waste reception facilities and hold various valid licences to collect, transport, process, treat and recycle and dispose toxic industrial wastes.
